Pac in Time is an arcade game released in by Mindscape. Pac in Time is a game in which you play the well-known character of Pac Man. It is your task to return to the present through a journey in time. The game is divided into several worlds, including desert, lagoon, forest, pyramids, etc. Wandering through the worlds, you will have to use various objects to pass the level of eg. Besides, you'll "eat" the dots - as in the classic Pac-Man game.

Pac-Man gets thrown back in time to his younger days after the nefarious Ghost Witch casted a spell on him for spoiling her plans. Now he has to find his way back to the present time.
Pac-Man has to go through several areas broken into ten sections each. To exit a section all of the pellets need to be collected in order for the exit to the section to appear. Pac-Man can jump and use tools. Tools include things such as hammers, fireballs, a bubble for underwater survival, and a climbing vine. This version of Pac-in-Time should not be confused with other versions of Pac-in-Time as the game engine, level layouts, and aesthetic are different.
There are no reviews yet. Pac has some new moves, such as rope swinging, that give this game greater depth. As Pac journeys to the present, he retains some of his most famous moves. Like the Pac of old, he eats pellets -- in fact, to pass a level, he must eat a specific number of pellets. Pac also knocks out enemies with a new hammer and fireballs, and he can find a super pellet and chomp up ghosts.
By adding fresh moves to the old ones, Namco breathed new life into a classic character. The above-average graphics sport nicely detailed landscapes, bright colors, and large, easy-to-follow sprites that move with smooth, intricate animation. Sound isn't the star of this game.
The background noises are exactly alike, and the music when Pac eats a super pellet is long and repetitive. Pac is easy to control, especially his basic running, jumping, and shooting motions.
Mastering his new rope-swinging move might be hard at first, but it soon becomes second nature -- and lots of fun. Jumping off obstacles to reach high cliffs can be frustrating as well, but it, too, gets easier with practice. Pac is still king to many people, and there's no mistaking why: He's great, lightweight fun. With more than 50 levels, Pac-ln-Time adds new dimensions to his legacy.
All Pac lovers, and even those who don't like this cheerful hero, should gobble up this winner and take a trip through time! The plot is still the same; P-Man has had a spell cast upon him--removing all his limbs and features.
Now he is pretty much stuck in his original form unless he can find the witch to reverse the spell or all is lost for him! Pac is back!
